Forgot My Oars
Good to Be Four

Forgot My Oars
I love starting my shows on time with a tune that is familiar, easy to
sing  yet has a twist that gets the audience laughing and contributing
new ideas.  It is a nice warm-up song before starting my
performance.

This picture was taken at the West Falmouth Library while other
guests were still arriving and before my host had given the official
welcome.   It was also fun to show off my ukelele.

Forgot my Oars by Tim Seston

Row, row, row your boat gently down the stream
I forgot my pair of oars, but this is just a dream

Row, row, row your boat gently down the lake
I forgot my pair of oars, I guess I'll use a rake

Row, row, row your boat gently down the sea
I forgot my pair of oars, I guess I'll use a tree

Row, row, row your boat gently cross the ocean
I forgot my pair of oars, the waves provide the motion

Row, row, row your boat gently down the pond
I forgot my pair of oars, I'll use my magic wand

Row, row, row your boat gently down the river
I forgot my pair of oars, I'll use this little sliver

Row, row, row your boat gently in the tub
I forgot my pair of oars, I guess I'll use a club

Row, row, row your boat gently past the sand
I forgot my pair of oars, I guess I'll use my hand

Row, row, row your boat underneath the street
This bridge is very tight you see, I guess I'll use my feet

Row, row, row your boat gently to the shore
I forgot to tell you all, I found some other oars
