I’m sitting on the rock
With nothing to do
Nothing to do
When you came wandering through

So we talked for awhile
And you gave me a smile
And from that day we were friends

I wasn’t bored, I wasn’t lonely
I wasn’t looking for anything at all
But when it happened, I was excited

Over the years our friendship grew
There were lots and lots of things connecting me to you
And often I take stock and I think about the rock
And I wonder how we became friends

I’m not sure why people think
This rock is so unique
Is it just amplifying the things
That we already seek?

So, what about the rock
Is it nothing at all

That the rock did to make us friends

One long time community member is starting to question beliefs
that (s)he has held for a long time.  The Rock has been an
important part in the lives of the characters of this musical.  But
does The Rock have special powers or is it the people that make
the real difference?
