My Name Is Connor
Discovery in Rhyme
Hi, my name's Connor - And it's my honor
To meet you, each and every one
If you are able - Come to my table
And listen to the things that I have done

Last week I learned to swim with sharks and eels and whales
I rode upon their backs and held on to their tails
They took me to explore the ocean depths below
And taught me everything that everyone should know

The week before I took a journey to the stars
And met some pleasant folks that live way out on Mars
They took me to explore the space that's way up there
And taught me everything and now I'd like to share

Hi my name's Connor . . .

Three weeks ago was great.  I met a scientist
Who shrank us both real small, we fit inside a fist
She took me to explore inside the human brain
And taught me everything that I can now explain

One month has past since I had met the strangest man
He traveled back in time inside a garbage can
He took me to explore the stories of our past
And taught me everything I understand at last

Hi my name's Connor . . .

So step right up and climb aboard
We'll soon be leaving the station
Have a piece of birthday cake
And enjoy the conversation

What do you do?  What is your name?
Is it adventure that you seek?
Please don't be shy and take a guess
What do you think we'll do this week?

I'll take you on this train, a joy ride for the day
Your imagination will tell us how to play
Please take me to explore no place is ever wrong
And teach me everything that I can pass along

Hi my name's Connor - And it's my honor
To meet you, each and every one
